In a recent advisory released by the Provincial Government of Aklan, the Kalibo International Airport is now open for all travelers and tourists going to the Province of Aklan.
This is good news for all travelers heading the island paradise of Boracay this holiday season. Both airports in Aklan can now be utilized for both tourism and regular travelers, as per executive order (EO) signed by the Governor of Aklan Province, Florencio Miraflores.
Furthermore, in the same EO, the curfew hours in Mainland Aklan are extended from 11:00 pm until 3:00 am in light of celebrating the advent and for the start of Simbang Gabi.
Meanwhile, in Boracay Island, the curfew hours are adjusted from 1:00 am to 3:00 am. The adjustments of the curfew hours are effective on December 16, 2021.
